Netbook - You Can Buy it Through AT&T

Are you penny-pinching on your dollars but are secretly wanting and desiring a netbook of your own. No worries, because you can have a netbook through AT&T. The best thing about it is that you can have a netbook for as little as .99.

The only catch is that the netbook is bundled with any of AT&T's two-year cellular data plan. Already there's already a limited trial run in Atlanta and Philadelphia, where some company-owned AT&T stores will offer mini-laptops. AT&T had initially signed a netbook deal with the Acer Aspire One, selling it for only with a per month DataConnect 3G and AT&T Wi-Fi service plan.

So, should you go with AT&T in its netbook plan?

When it comes to buying anything, what you really should consider are your needs. Keep in mind that although you will be buying a netbook at deeply discounted prices, you will be locked in to a two-year contract which may or not be useful to you. As it is, if you go for a DataConnect 3G plan, you end up paying ,500.

But you really should stay tuned to AT&T's cellular data plans. AT&T's trial sales might venture into AT&T Internet at Home and On the Go plan. Interestingly, at .95, the subscription plan includes not just the 3G DataConnect plan and unlimited AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot access, but also AT&T's home broadband service called Fast Access DSL.

The mini laptops being offered in the AT&T bundled plan are the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and Mini 12, and LG Xenia, Acer Aspire One. On their own, their prices range from 9.99 to 9.99 on their own but with AT&T's plan you can get them from .99 to 9.99.
